GOLDEN PHEASANT – COMPLETE HEAD

Description

The  Golden Pheasant Complete Head is the head area of the Golden Pheasant that has the crest and tippet feathers. The crest feathers and tippet feathers are hugely popular when it comes to Salmon fly tying.

The yellow crest feathers are bright in colour and delicate with a fine structure. This kind of feather is particularly used for Salmon fly patterns and creating tails and toppings.

The tippet feathers are used in pairs for wings on Salmon fly patterns and can be tail material and as tails in Wet Trout fly tying as well. These feathers are bright orange with black defined markings and come in a variety of sizes, making it ideal for many different patterns.
