The Irish Dabblers were developed by Donald McClarn for fishing Loughs and has taken Ireland by storm in the past few years.  The Claret Dabbler Wet Fly is a great fly to fish as a top dropper or middle dropper.  The Dabbler is tied in a variety of colours and is probably taken for sedges.
