Bloodworm Nymphs
The Bloodworm Nymph Fly is used mostly from the bank as a point-fly, but it also works in shallow bays from an anchored boat. Slow-and-deep is the method, so that the nymph ‘crawls’ along the bottom. I have caught trout with their stomachs crammed full of bloodworms, usually in the summer months.
