Description
Caddis Nymphs
Although there is no doubt that trout eat sedges at their larva and adult stages, at no time is the sedge fly more vulnerable than when the pupa emerges from its case and begins rising to the surface. It is probable that most trout eat many more sedge pupae than they do adult sedge flies, and yet fly fishermen down the ages have tended to concentrate on the adults. Caddis Nymph Flies.
