The Blae and Black Wet Fly – yellow tail

The Blae and Black yellow tail, Wet Fly pattern originated in Ireland, but now used all over the British Isles.  It is particularly effective during a rise of chironomid midge.  In some places this fly is known as the Duck Fly. It can also be a useful fly for sea trout.
