Description
Greenwells Glory
The Greenwells Glory is one of the best-known and most respected imitative Wet Fly patterns. It has accounted for countless thousands of trout since it was first used by Canon William Greenwell in May 1854.
Modern trout fishers often fish it in the surface film when fish are feeding on various olive coloured flies.
Dry Fly and Nymph versions, of similar coloration, complete a set to suit all conditions when olive or green flies are about from May onwards on Stillwater’s or rivers.
