You can tie mainly tungsten jigs of all types and sizes to this type of fly hook, but of course also trout jig streamers – a special type of modern streamers tied on jig hooks.
A hook of this type is also used when tying “horizontal” Stillwater lures, which are used today when fishing with the static method “Dry-Dropper” or “BUNG”.
